HENRY REPEATING ARMS LONG RANGER 6.5CR OPEN SIGHTS

Description

The Henry Long Ranger in 6.5 Creedmoor represents the evolution of the lever-action rifle into the modern era. This magazine-fed lever gun combines the smooth operation and classic aesthetics of traditional lever actions with the long-range accuracy and terminal performance that today’s hunters demand from premium cartridges.

Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor—one of the most popular precision hunting calibers available—this Long Ranger delivers flat trajectories, excellent wind resistance, and devastating terminal ballistics out to 400+ yards. Whether you’re pursuing elk in mountain terrain, deer across open fields, or practicing long-range accuracy at the range, this rifle performs with confidence-inspiring precision.

The 22-inch round blued barrel provides optimal velocity while maintaining a manageable overall length for field use. The receiver is factory-drilled and tapped for scope mounting, making it easy to add your preferred optic when you’re ready. For now, the included adjustable open sights provide accurate iron-sight shooting right out of the box—perfect for traditionalists or as backup optics.

The detachable magazine system holds 4+1 rounds and allows quick reloading without disturbing a mounted scope—a significant advantage over tube-fed lever actions when using pointed bullets. The hardcoat anodized black receiver resists wear and corrosion, while the American walnut straight grip stock with checkering provides comfortable handling and classic styling.

Weighing approximately 7 pounds, this rifle strikes an excellent balance between stability for precision shooting and portability for hiking into remote hunting grounds. Henry’s signature smooth lever action makes follow-up shots fast and natural when opportunities arise in the field.

For hunters who want modern cartridge performance wrapped in a traditional lever-action package, the Long Ranger in 6.5 Creedmoor is an outstanding choice that bridges generations of firearms design.
