CIMARRON 1886 45-70 26″ – OCTAGON CC/BLUED WALNUT

Description

Cimarron Model 1886 Lever-Action Rifle – The King of Big Game Rifles

The Cimarron Firearms Model 1886 is the definitive choice for those who demand strength and accuracy in a lever-action rifle. Chambered for the formidable .45-70 Government cartridge, this rifle was built to take down mammoths and bear, and it continues to serve as the premier big game hunting rifle on the North American plains today.

Heritage Craftsmanship

This reproduction features a robust 26-inch octagon barrel with a 1:18 twist rate, ensuring stability for heavy bullets. The frame is beautifully case hardened while the metal fittings are blued, creating a striking contrast against the straight-grip American walnut stock. It is finished with a classic Crescent steel butt plate and equipped with a brass bead front sight and a semi-buckhorn rear sight for rapid target acquisition.

Built to Perform

Weighing in at approximately 9 pounds, the Cimarron 1886 has a solid heft that absorbs recoil effectively. The 8-round tube capacity means fewer reloads when tracking a dangerous game animal. It is an heirloom-grade firearm designed for serious shooters who appreciate American craftsmanship and rugged, reliable performance.
